Project Engineer- Buildings Physics

This is an opportunity in the Berlin area to work for an established national and international engineering office in the area of Building Physics and Energy Simulations.

Your mission:

  • Analyze 2D and 3D thermal bridges to avoid condensation or mold risks

  • Create GEG and equivalence certificates for residential and non-residential buildings

  • Actively implement projects – in new buildings and in existing renovations (solid, timber, hybrid and industrial construction)

  • Conduct thermal-hygric simulations to evaluate summer thermal protection and comfort

  • Support sustainable certifications such as DGNB – for efficient and durable buildings.

What you bring with you:

  • Completed studies in civil engineering, building physics, energy and building technology or comparable

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in thermal building physics

  • Experience in building and room acoustics is an advantage

  • Reliable know-how in thermal bridge calculations & simulations

  • Familiar with funding programs such as KfW, BAFA, energy consulting and iSFP

  • Fluent German, knowledge of English desired
