Job Title: Programme Manager

Location: London

Day rate: £500-£575p/d

Contract: 6 months initial contract – up to 4 years work

 

A fantastic opportunity for a Programme Manager has arisen to work on 11kv-132kv substation build and connections.

 

Key responsibilities for this Programme Manager role:

  • Ability to execute high value HV substation builds and connections up to 400kv
  • Managing teams
  • Prepare reports and provide regular information to be included in client progress report
  • Assist the procurement and commercial team
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers
  • Identify at the earliest opportunity any delays that are impacting the programme so that the appropriate notices can be raised (EWNs and CENs)
  • Ensure that expenditure is in line with the budget and that resources are utilised efficiently to ensure cost control.

 

Experience / qualifications required for this Programme Manager role:

• Experience as a Programme Manager on National Grid works, High-Voltage Substations up to 400kv

• Able to demonstrate a track record of successful project delivery, good client relationships, and repeat business

• Proficient in commercial/project management communications

• Commercially astute - NEC

• Ability to see the business vision and inspire this shared vision amongst the team

• Holds a current driving licence
