About the Role
As a Power Systems Engineer you will deliver design and analysis for medium and high-voltage networks, including renewable energy integration. You will utilise industry-recognised software such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory and ETAP to model complex networks, run advanced studies, and produce detailed reports and specifications. The role requires both technical excellence and the ability to work collaboratively across project teams, with exposure to projects in the UK and Europe.

The key requirements for this Power Systems Engineer role are:
- Carry out steady-state and dynamic power system studies using software such as DIgSILENT and ETAP
- Produce technical reports, specifications and design documentation based on study outputs
- Support compliance assessments for renewable energy integration, including PV, wind and BESS
- Review calculations, specifications and reports produced by other engineers
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver accurate solutions
- Support project management processes including H&S, environmental and operational procedures
- Contribute to business development and knowledge sharing within the power systems team

Experience required for this Power Systems Engineer role are:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Power Systems Engineering
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards
- Minimum 5 years' professional experience in power system studies and design
- Proficiency with software such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory or ETAP
- Knowledge of UK Grid Code and Engineering Recommendation G99 requirements (desirable)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage workloads across multiple projects and deadlines
