Are you familiar with the Southern Network Rail route and have track experience?
I am looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated Possession Planner to join a specialist service provider, who specialise in various areas within the rail sector from Vegetation, Minor Civils, M&E, fencing and maintenance.
Due to growth within the team, they are looking for a Possession Planner with experience of line block/possession management, ideally on Network Rail's Wessex route. You will be responsible for delivering an excellent, well organised service in line with agreed company and contract targets/KPI's.
Key responsibilities for this Possession Planner role:
- Work closely with company planners/planning department and contract managers to ensure plans are accurate and delivered on time.
- Develop a full understanding of contractual planning requirements and corresponding contractual KPI's.
- Liaising with the client and company contract manager on a regular basis.
- Maintaining the documentation of plans.
- Represent the company in client possession meetings and relating information back to site.
Experience required for this Possession Planner role:
- Valid PTS is essential.
- COSS - desirable
- Good knowledge and training in Network Rail's Possession Planning System (PPS).
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Projects (beneficial btu not essential).
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of NWR standards.
Package offered for this Possession Planner role:
- Salary circa £30,000 - £39,000
- 25 Days annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays
