Planner - Limerick

Job Description

Due to continued growth, one of Ireland’s leading contractors is for an experienced planner to join their team. This role is site based in Limerick on a large-scale pharmaceutical project.

Key responsibilities for this Planner role:

  • Collaboratively developing and maintaining a robust detailed project programme in accordance with the contract requirements.
  • Ensuring the programme captures the full scope and considers constraints and resources.
  • Draw up a bid preparation programme and contribute to the tender queries database.
  • Prepare resource schedules for use at review.
  • Investigate and document any economic, legal, or other aspects that may have an influence on the project's success.
  • Examine current practices and suggest modifications to increase the effectiveness of project planning and scheduling.
  • Producing high-quality programmes that are in line with company and client requirements, within the allotted time frame, and in accordance with project deadlines for PQQ, Tendering, and Contract objectives.
  • Maintaining communication with the tendering team to ensure the submission of compliant bids in accordance with employers & tender requirements.

Experience required for this Planner role:

  • Proven in-depth project planning experience.
  • Experience of pharma projects would be a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in an established project planning environment
  • Proven experience in delivering projects to the desired outcomes and within quality, time and costs limits.
  • Highly competent user of Primavera P6
  • Proficient to intermediate level in Microsoft Excel as a minimum
  • Willing to travel to project sites as required.

Package for this Planner;

  • €55,000 - €65,000 per annum dependant on level of experience, plus:
