This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Network Consultancy specialising in strategic consulting across network testing, security, automation, and monitoring.
Our client is seeking a Network Engineer to help deliver innovative and impactful solutions to critical infrastructure clients.
As part of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to partner with leading vendors in Telecoms, AI, and Cybersecurity, enjoying flexibility and autonomy as a consultant.
Key responsibilities for this Network Engineer role:
- Design, configure, and implement network infrastructures (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Data Centre, 5G/Telecoms)
- Troubleshoot and optimise performance across diverse network environments
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Collaborate with clients to assess requirements and deliver robust, secure solutions
- Assist in penetration testing, resilience assessments, and security-hardening initiatives
- Document network architectures, configurations, and best practices for long-term client success
Experience required for this Network Engineer role:
- CCNP certified
- Minimum 3 years of experience with load balancers and firewalls
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Automation/Python/Ansible
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Design, configure, and implement network infrastructures
- Strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, or similar enterprise networking solutions
- Develop solutions for end clients in network testing, monitoring, and automation
- Comfortable commuting on-site x4 days/week
