This is a great opportunity for an experienced Rigging Engineer with Micorwave Links expereince to join a main contractor and work on an extensive Cellular - Microwave Links Installations Telecoms Project. The company is a very successful contractor which specialise in niche Telecom projects and are expanding their work force to support the successful win of projects across the whole of the UK.
Your role as a Microwave Rigger will allow you to join a medium sized business and install niche Broadcasting and Cellular networks nationally. This company is offering a long term contract opportunity to a Microwave Rigging Engineer. The client offer a unique working environment which allows to be a part of a successful team rolling out ESN sites across the UK.
Key responsibilities for this Microwave Rigger role:
- Performing Line of Sight Surveys
- Assisting with Radio Installs
- Radio Deployment and Support
- Meeting customers and discussing maintenance, installation, and health & safety issues.
- Writing Reports with text and photographs
- Completing Risk Assessments
- Performing all tasks to the Health & Safety documents
- Ensuring Work area is a safe place to work for yourself and others.
- Full Site Builds
Experience required for this Microwave Rigger role:
- Working at height -Towers
- RF Training
- Rooftop Awareness
- Tower Rescue
- Medical Certificate
- First Aid at Height
- Asbestos Awareness
- SC Clearance and NVPP3
- Electrical Safety (DC Competence)
- PPE Inspection forms
- Manual Handling
- Clean UK driving lisence
Package offered for this Microwave Rigger role:
- £300 - £350 per day
- IR35 status to be determined - typically outside, but subject to assessment
- 6-month contract - extensions on successful performance
