Job Title: MEP Manager
Location: Denmark
We are currently seeking an MEP Manager on behalf of one of our clients, a specialist construction and engineering contractor, working on a large-scale data centre project in Denmark.
As the MEP Manager, you will lead the Building Services team to ensure the successful delivery of fully compliant, integrated, energy-efficient, and commissioned MEP systems across the data centre and other associated mission-critical projects. This will involve the effective use of MEP Management Systems and Procedures to deliver works safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities for this MEP Manager role:
- Take responsibility for the MEP project delivery as part of the project team
- Engage in all aspects of the MEP delivery, from estimating, pre-construction, installation, commission, demonstration and handover.
- Help choose and manage MEP subcontractors.
- Support tender and award for MEP packages
- Ensure that health and safety is adhered to on site
- Tracking of equipment and plant
- Make sure electrical power for the site (even temporary) is set up correctly
- Work with design teams and contractors to avoid issues during construction.
- Ensure the MEP elements of each project are managed in line with all relevant Building Services procedures, guidance documents, and the specific Project Execution Plan (PEP).
Key Requirements for this MEP Manager role:
- 6+ years of experience managing the MEP aspects of large-scale data centre or mission critical projects.
- Proven understanding of end-to-end MEP processes from estimating to handover.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures.
- Degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Member of a professional institution advantageous (i.e CIBSE, CIOB, IEI)
- IOSH or other relevant Health and Safety training
- Live energies training
