Mechanical Supervisor – Thames Water Sewerage Treatment Plants (Twickenham)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to work on Thames Water sewaage treatment plant based in Twickenham. This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor looking for long-term, stable work on a 5-year framework, offering job security, continuity, and consistent earnings.

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be site-based 5 days per week, overseeing mechanical installation, maintenance, and refurbishment works within live water and wastewater environments. This role is ideal for a Mechanical Supervisor with a strong mechanical background who values longevity and stability.

As a Mechanical Supervisor, your duties will include:

  • Supervising mechanical works on Thames Water sewerage treatment plants
  • Day-to-day site management as a Mechanical Supervisor
  • Coordinating mechanical labour, materials, and plant
  • Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification
  • Leading and managing mechanical operatives and subcontractors
  • Working closely with project and site management teams
  • Enforcing high health & safety standards at all times

Requirements – Mechanical Supervisor

To be successful in this Mechanical Supervisor role, you must have:

  • Valid CSCS card
  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification
  • A Mechanical Apprenticeship or NVQ (minimum requirement)
  • Proven experience working as a Mechanical Supervisor
  • Background in utilities, water/wastewater, or heavy engineering environments
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

Location & Working Pattern

  • Based on site in Twickenham
  • 5 days per week on site
  • 6 month rolling contract
  • Working on live Thames Water sewage treatment plants

Rate & Contract Details – Mechanical Supervisor

  • £400 – £500 per day
  • Inside IR35
  • Long-term contract on a secured 5-year framework
