HV Electrical Design Manager
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HV Electrical Design Manager to join a main contractor and work on an exciting EV Framework.
The company is an award-winning main contractor who are market leaders in the Energy and Power sector. Your role as a HV Electrical Design Manager will be responsible for driving a successful team forward, implementing structure, design and discipline across the wider division.
Role is based in Liverpool however the client will accept applications from other parts of the UK and any overnight stays will be expensed alongside a daily meal allowance included, ideally you will need to be in the office 3 days a week to allow for successful collaboration with the wider team.This company are forward thinking, offer great training, development opportunities and are recognised for their great culture, which puts their people first.
Key responsibilities for this HV Electrical Design Manager role:
• Designing and developing HV/LV electrical distribution systems
• Managing a small team of designers and external contractors
• Assess feasibility of projects and identify potential issues
• Create technical specifications and drawings
• Tracking projects against key milestones through construction to facilitate accurate forecasting
• Build & maintain relationships with customers in line with the companies core values
Experience required for this HV Electrical Design Manager role:
- DNO or IDNO experience
- Familiar with HV electrical assets
- Degree or related qualification in electrical engineering
- Able to understand customer needs and put them into real life plans.
- Strong technical and analytical skills to support the construction of projects
- Exposure to EV infrastructure
Package offered for this HV Electrical Design Manager role:
- £70,000 - £90,000 depending on experience
- Bonus
- Company car or car allowance
- Pension
- 3 days in office, 2 days wfh
- Travel, overnight stays and meals expensed
