Job Description

We are in search of a highly experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Advisor to fill a prestigious role based in Cork. The selected candidate will be stationed on-site to oversee the construction of a cutting-edge extension to a manufacturing facility in Cork. Key Responsibilities for the EHS Advisor Role:

  • Implement the organization's quality, safety, and environmental management systems, procedures, and policies.
  • Create and distribute toolbox talks, safe plans of action, and method statements.
  • Attend safety and site meetings.
  • Ensure all accidents and near-accidents are reported, documented, and thoroughly investigated. Notify the Client, Company Health & Safety Authority, and Insurers as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the project team to conduct accident/incident investigations promptly and provide management with recommendations based on these findings.

Experience Required for this EHS Advisor Role:

  • Minimum requirement: Health & Safety Diploma.
  • Essential experience of 4-7 years, preferably with a Main Contractor.
  • Prior experience in the construction industry is a must.
  • Ideally, previous involvement in Irish or UK contracts, particularly on large-scale commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in delivering HSE standards, systems, and processes.
  • Excellent reporting skills, with familiarity in Microsoft Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Package for this EHS Advisor Role:

  • Competitive salary ranging from €55,000 to €70,000, subject to experience (Negotiable).
