Health & Safety Manager

Summary

A leading player in the civil engineering and infrastructure sector is currently recruiting for and Health & Safety Health & Safety Manager to lead health and safety excellence across various civils projects including airports, railway infrastructure, and commercial, industrial and educational buildings.

You'll ensure compliance with all legislative and corporate standards while driving the coordination of Safety Management Systems, risk assessments, audits, and stakeholder requirements.

This role will be based across our Didcot & Cockfosters projects.

To be suitable for the Health & Safety Manager role you will have:

-    Relevant health & safety experience in Construction / Civil engineering..
-    NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, or equivalent.
-    A qualified internal health & safety auditor with demonstrable experience of completing internal audits. Lead Auditor status beneficial but not essential.
-    An understanding of the requirements of BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and experience in facilitating registration surveillance visits.
-    A working knowledge of current and impending health & safety legislation
-    Good presentation, written, analytical and IT skills.
-    Training and presentation experience throughout all levels of an organisation.
-    Good interpersonal skills with the ability to guide and educate/train at all levels

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum plus package including:
