Health & Safety Advisor
Summary
A leading player in the civil engineering and infrastructure sector is currently recruiting for an Health & Safety Advisor to support the health and safety aspects across various civils projects.
You'll help ensure compliance with all legislative and corporate standards while assisting with the coordination of Safety Management Systems, risk assessments, audits, and stakeholder requirements.
This role will be based on a major civils project in Bridgwater
To be suitable for the Health & Safety Advisor role you will have:
- Relevant health & safety experience in Construction / Civil engineering
- NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, or equivalent
- CSCS card holder.
- A qualified internal health & safety auditor with demonstrable experience of completing internal audits. Lead Auditor status beneficial but not essential.
- An understanding of the requirements of BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and experience in facilitating registration surveillance visits.
- A working knowledge of current and impending health & safety legislation
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum plus car / allowance and package including:
