The Role
We are seeking a GeoConsultant / Geotechnical Engineer to join the team in Berlin. In this position, you’ll play a vital role in delivering ground risk assessments and geotechnical recommendations that support major infrastructure and energy projects. You will collaborate closely with engineers, scientists, and project managers to interpret site investigation data and provide actionable insights throughout the project lifecycle.

This is an ideal opportunity for a technically strong and consultative professional who wants to apply their geotechnical or engineering geology expertise in a project-driven, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret geotechnical, geological, and geophysical data to develop robust ground models.

  • Provide geotechnical design parameters and contribute to engineering solutions for infrastructure, energy, and environmental projects.

  • Work as part of cross-functional project teams on both local and international assignments.

  • Prepare technical reports and communicate findings clearly to clients and stakeholders.

  • Contribute to proposals, risk assessments, and project planning efforts.

  • Participate in meetings with clients to understand project objectives and technical requirements.

Requirements

  • Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in geotechnical consulting, site investigations, or design support.

  • Proficiency with common geotechnical analysis tools and software.

  • Strong technical writing and communication skills in English; German language skills are highly desirable.

  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Willingness to travel for site visits and project meetings as needed.
