Foreman

We are currently seeking an experienced Foreman to join our clients dynamic team at a prominent main contracting company. The role involves overseeing and managing various commercial projects across Kilkenny. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in the civils/road construction on commercial or residential projects.

The ideal candidade will have a good understanding of civil engineering, as they will bring valuable insights and practical knowledge to the role.

Responsibilities for this Foreman role:

• Oversee and organize all aspects of the civil works for this commercial project.
• Guarantee timely, budget-conscious, and top-quality project delivery.
• Supervise and oversee subcontractors and tradespeople's activities on-site.
• Ensure adherence to project plans and specifications in all work conducted.
• Enforce on-site compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Keep precise records of all on-site work conducted.

Requirements for this Foreman role:

• A minimum of three years' experience in a similar position.
• Previous involvement in commercial projects is strongly preferred.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.
• Demonstrated leadership and managerial proficiency is a must.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications is required.
• Thorough knowledge of health and safety regulations and requirements is necessary.
• Capability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines is crucial.
• A valid EU driver's license is a required.
