Finishing Foreman

Job Description

An experienced Finishing Foreman is required by one of Irelands leading main contractors within the construction industry to work on a residential project based in Dublin.

As a Finishing Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the final stages of a residential. You will be responsible for ensuring that all finishing works are completed to the highest standards, meeting both the client's expectations and the company's quality requirements.

 

Responsibilities:

· Managing and coordinating the activities of subcontractors and tradespeople involved in the finishing phase.

· Conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with architectural drawings, specifications, and building codes.

· Monitoring and maintaining the project schedule, ensuring timely completion of finishing works.

· Identifying and resolving any quality issues or defects promptly.

· Collaborating with the project manager to address and resolve any challenges that arise during the finishing phase.

· Ensuring a safe working environment and adherence to health and safety regulations.

 

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on residential projects.

· Strong knowledge of finishing trades, including carpentry, tiling, painting, and plastering.

· Excellent understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.

· Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for quality finishes.

· Effective leadership and organizational skills.

· Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with subcontractors, tradespeople, and clients.

· Valid construction-related certifications and qualifications are desirable.

 

Package:

· €55,000 – €65,000 depending on experience

· Company vehicle
