A fantastic Environmental, Consents & Sustainability Manager opportunity has arisen with a fast-paced Principal Contractor specialising in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure works.

The Environmental, Consents & Sustainability Manager will manage all environmental aspects, ensuring the project is compliant with legal and ISO standards and supporting Environmental Advisers in delivering environmental support to site

This a great opportunity to work on a the heavy Civil Engineering aspects of a major high-profile Power project based in North Wales.

The company follow fundamental principles of integrity, accountability, innovation & delivery and are committed to incorporating sustainability at every stage of these major long-term projects.

Key responsibilities of this Environmental, Consents & Sustainability Manager role:
• Work closely with the Project team, stakeholders and supply chain to manage environmental aspects.
• Ensure legal compliance & ISO standards.
• Support Head of HSE in providing project updates.
• Contribute to the Sustainability Strategy development.

Experience required for this Environmental, Consents & Sustainability Manager role:
• Preferably degree qualified and/or NEBOSH or IEMA.
• Experience of providing environmental support at Advisor level on one or multiple related project sites.
• Knowledge around carbon & energy management preferred.
• Liaised with Statutory Bodies, Clients, Subcontractors.
• Sound knowledge of Sustainability & Environmental issues in high-risk construction environments.
• Flexibility around travel / staying away if not within commutable distance of site.

Package offered for this Environmental, Consents & Sustainability Manager role:
• Up to around £60,000
• Travel allowance
• Full subsistence covered if not within commutable distance
