Engineering Manager
Location: Swindon
Salary: £85,000 to £110,000
What will you be doing:
Leading the engineering function across nominated projects and sectors, supporting both bid and delivery teams.
Providing technical assurance across design, construction, and handover while managing engineering risk.
Driving innovation and best-value engineering solutions through design, methods, and technology.
Providing technical leadership on bids, tenders, and client engagements.
Developing engineering teams and promoting the companies standards, values, and culture.
What you'll need:
Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) approved by the Head of Technical Services.
Substantial experience across both design and construction on major civil engineering projects.
Strong leadership experience managing engineering teams and design managers.
Proven ability to provide technical assurance and risk management on complex projects.
In-depth understanding of Principal Designer duties, including ERIC.
Ability to deputise for the Project Manager when required.
Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills.
Package & perks:
Salary between £85,000-£110,000.
