EHS Advisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our client's team in 2024. Depending on the onboarding schedule, you may be assigned to various projects across Dublin.

Our client possesses a strong portfolio spanning diverse sectors, including Residential, Office & Commercial, Hotel & Leisure, Industrial, Healthcare & Pharma, Data Centres, Retail, Education, and Fit-Out.

The successful candidates will become part of a well-established HSQE Department, reporting to the HSQE Manager. They should exhibit excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude to collaborate with our Site Management in delivering projects in accordance with the company's ISO and Safety & Accredited Safety Management Systems.

Responsibilites for this EHS Advisor Role:

  • Knowledge of ISO/OHSAS Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry and experience in roles such as Main Contractor and Project Supervisor Construction Stage.
  • Implementation of the company’s health, safety, quality, and environmental policies, procedures, and management systems.
  • Coordination of EHS activities across multiple projects.
  • Advising and assisting site management in drafting and communicating Method Statements, risk assessments, Safe Plans of Action, and Toolbox Talks.
  • Effective communication with Site Management, Clients, and Subcontractors, providing advice, guidance, and instruction in health and safety matters to management, safety representatives, and employees.
  • Delivery of Site-Specific Induction programs for new employees or subcontractors working on site.
  • Undertaking scheduled Site Audit Inspections and communicating the results to site and senior company management.
  • Ensuring all accidents are reported, recorded, and investigated, with timely notification to site and senior company management.
  • Enforcing the Company's behavioral safety program on site.

Requirements for this EHS Advisor Role:

  • Degree qualified in health & safety.
  • 2 years experience as an EHS Coordinator / Advisor within the construction industry.
  • Ability to work as a part of a team.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Must have full working rights to work witin the EU

Salary for this EHS Advisor role is between €47,500 - €60,000 DOE

(Negotiable dependent upon experience), bonus scheme, car allowance, plus further additional benefits
