E&P Construction Manager
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join a sub contractor and work on various multi millon pound projects
Key responsibilities for this Construction Manager role:
- Responsible for advising the Project Manager and Project Team on the construction of
works.
- Liaise with the projects team personnel to ensure their requirements are understood and complied with.
- Participate as required in project construction/planning meetings to ensure adequacy of sequencing and interface with other disciplines is coordinated to ensure efficient implementation of all E&P activities.
- Ensure compliance with CDM undertaking the production of WPP’s & Risk Assessments for endorsement by the CRE. Manage the production of Task Briefs by the Supervisors as required throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain project files including records of: work planned; work achieved; in process checks undertaken; change control; inspection and test documentation; compilation of H & S file; provision of as built information and handover/handback documentation
- Ensure the delivery of all site activities are fully coordinated in line with the project programme
- Manage Inspection Testing and Commissioning in collaboration with the Project Engineer / CRE CRE in accordance client requirements.
Experience required for this Construction Manager role:
- Proven experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering & Construction works including an appropriate period of time acting in a Managerial or Supervisory capacity.
- Project planning, sequencing of works and critical path planning. Commercial awareness and ability to produce and maintain construction budgets
- ONC Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering: or Equivalent
- Desirable- HNC Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
Package offered for this Consutction Manager role:
- £450-£475 per day outside IR35
- November Start
- 6 month rolling contract
