A well-established contractor with a growing pipeline of projects is looking to appoint a Design Manager to join their expanding team.
Based in Crewe - travel to site 1 day per week
£55,000 - £60,000 + package (Experience Based)
This is a great opportunity to step into a Design Management role where you'll have real ownership, leading the design process to deliver a successful scheme from the ground up.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong, proven experience in a Design Management role (or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to lead at least two previous projects from early-stage design through to completion
- Background with a main contractor, ideally with experience in structurally complex or structural-focused schemes
- Strong ability to drive design progress, coordinate consultants, and manage challenges through to delivery
Highly Desirable:
- Structural engineering background or significant exposure to structural elements
- Experience in pre-construction coordination or enabling works
- A relevant degree or professional membership (e.g. CIOB, RIBA, ICE)
