Commercial Manager
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a Tier one infrastructure delivery company on fibreb broadband builds in the North East and work on future projects in the growing Telecoms sector.
The company is an award-winning main contractor who are market leaders in the infrastructure delivery sector.
Your role as a Commercial Manager will be to be responsible for overseeing the commercial function for the telecoms business unit.

Key responsibilities for this Commercial Manager role:
-Pre-contract - preparation of tenders as directed and attend pre-contract meetings.
-Support the bid and estimating teams
-Agree target margins for projects -Perform the Commercial Lead function
-Actively interrogate all appropriate financial and contractual information ensuring that it accurately forecasts project(s) position and value, costs & margins against the target margin and profit plans
-Review and when necessary, facilitate subcontract enquiries
-Overseeing the quantity surveyors, performing main contract tasks to standards
-Oversee commercial arrangements around sub-contractors
-Full P and L responsibility
-Lead all the People responsibilities for the team
-Ensure that the preparation of 'claims or other means of dispute management to correct and insurances
Experience required for this Commercial Manager role:
- Experienced Commercial Manager, with a background in Telecoms, Construction or Civils Engineering
- Pre-Contract Experience
- Management of a commercial function
- Overseeing the day-to-day strategic commercial operation
Package offered for this Site Manager role:
- Up to £80,000 D.O.E
- Car Allowance
