£80,000 Base + Package | Major Public Sector Project:
A Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Lead is required for a confidential, high value public sector development valued at approximately £40m.
The role sits within a structured Tier 1 contracting environment delivering secure government funded works.
You will take commercial responsibility for a major live NEC contract, working collaboratively with design, operational and commercial teams while reporting into senior leadership.
Key responsibilities include:

Full commercial management of a £40m NEC4 contract

Cost control, reporting and forecasting

Pricing and managing change

Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts

Commercial input throughout design development
-
Ensuring programme and cost alignment with operational teams

Utilising internal management and reporting software systems
Requirements:

Strong NEC contract experience (essential)

Public sector background (education, healthcare, defence or similar)

Tier 1 contractor experience preferred

Experience managing high-value schemes

Confident with commercial management systems

Motivational and capable of leading commercial performance
