CNC Machinist
I have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Machinist to join a forward thinking, future ready rolling stock business who are passionate about delivering the best possible service and highest quality parts to their customers.
They have recently taken on a renewed focus within the rail industry and have now opened their fantastic, state of the art new centre of excellence facility where they provide a wide range of services to meet the requirements of UK rail which include Manufacturing and Supply, Refurb, Overhaul & Repair, Site Support, Project Management and Reverse Engineering.
Key responsibilities for this CNC Machinist role:
- Produce component parts to engineering drawings and specs.
- Horizontal machine setting - operating and programming.
- Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
- Adhering to Quality and HSE Standards and policies.
Experience required for this CNC Machinist role:
- Time served Machine Operator (Horizontal Borers).
- Have the ability to read and use measuring equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Experience of Fanuc and Heidenhain.
- Able to work methodically, confidently and consistently.
Package offered for this CNC Machinist role:
- Hourly rate £18 - £19 per hour
- Days & Afters Shifts
- Shifts 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm
- Overtime rates
- Bespoke training
