I have a requirement for a Civil Site Engineer project based in Langport – Somerset which will be working on the Environmental Agency package covering the improvement flood storage reservoir. You will be commissioned to support delivery of flood risk management, environmental, navigation and other outcomes, providing services at various stages of the whole life asset cycle and incident management responses across the Southwest.
You will need:
• Responsible for setting out works constructed within allowable tolerances;
• Ensuring workforce understands all setting out information as identified suitable for the type of work being carried out;
• Regularly checking the setting out points and benchmarks and checking that all setting out instruments and measuring equipment are delivered to site with a calibration certificate and recorded accordingly;
• Assist in the recording and testing of workmanship and materials, i.e., drainage, concrete, piling, brickwork etc.
• Maintain drawing register;
