Location: Doncaster

Salary: £40,000 - £65,000 negotiable dependant on experience plus package

Summary

A specialist in providing high quality signalling design, installation, and testing services to the rail industry are seeking to appoint an ambitious and committed Business Development Manager to lead in the delivery of signalling projects in there growing team.

Duties

- Provide & develop an opportunity pipeline in line with the company requirements.
- Appraise opportunities and provide recommendations.
- Develop and maintain a business network.
- Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships, or new products and services & engage with new clients.
- Plan and undertake client meetings, to attain project knowledge and leads.
- Be knowledgeable about products and services offered by the business.
- Promote our services and products in the marketplace.
- Raise the company profile by attending exhibitions and seminars.
- Understand market conditions & client's needs.
- Maintain a positive attitude that inspires co-workers and clients.

Seeking someone with

- Experience and success in a similar business development, market manager or senior sales role in the rail or construction markets
- In-depth knowledge of business management principles
- Project management, market research and strategic planning skill
- Working knowledge of word processing tools and other relevant software packages such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access and any other industry-related software.
- Strong commercial background and awareness.

Desirable

- Experience of work in the railway industry within rail signalling.
