Business Analyst

Job Description

Role: Oracle Fusion Business Analyst. 6 Months Contract:
The hands-on roles with the IT team translating business objectives and outcomes to define business requirements, processes and high-level solution designs. Need to be personable and professional Oracle Cloud Business Analyst with proven ability to scope, define business requirements, map business processes. Need to be adaptable and un-phased by changing priorities, actively seeking new knowledge and enjoy a wide variety of interesting projects.

Key Responsibilities:
 Running workshop, scoping, designing key business process and requirements
 Requirements Analysis and highlights gaps and articulate best practice approach
 Mapping requirements to Oracle modules (OTL, Payroll and Projects)
 Can assemble current operating process state and map to future state.
 Able to work with internal business units, external vendors and system integrators.
 Communicating with external and internal customers.
 Manging expectations, shaping and influencing outcomes.
 Liaise with both Business and IT teams to identify changes that are required to current or new IT systems and assess the potential impact on business processes, whilst always ensuring that the services interests are observed by relevant internal and external parties.
 Contribute to system change requests and change control data, produce and present training documentation and internal system operating guides as required.
 Be able to manage scope/change requests through the project lifecycle.
 Utilising software and business analysis tools.
 Responsible for taking a continuous improvement approach and seeking to maximize efficiency through business process review.
 Can work with both agile and waterfall methods.
 Actively seeks to understand present/future IT business requirements/objectives and to translate these into system and or customer service improvement opportunities.
 Using feasibility requirement studies to produce technical design specifications for IT Development.
 Responsible for ensuring that all functional requirements and business processes are mapped correctly for each change accepted.
 Utilises appropriate toolsets, modelling techniques etc in performing structured analysis and supporting documentation for the purposes of system improvement / new system design ensuring quality standards are adhered to.
 Production of a variety of outputs such as a Business Process Maps, Business Requirement Specification.

Key Knowledge:
 Has a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience of working with Oracle Cloud Applications
 Experience of liaising with third party interfaces
 Performing functional, system interfacing and business testing on Oracle Cloud Applications
 IT business analysis experience
 Good understanding of IT-driven change
 Problem solving mindset.
 Proactive attitude
 Ability to build positive rapport at all levels.

Essential:
 Excellent verbal and communication skills
 Strong numerical skills
 Understands Oracle Cloud Applications with working knowledge of Oracle Time and Labour, HCM and Payroll

 Understands Oracle Projects
