Responsibilites for this BIM Coordinator role.
- Assume full responsibility for the project's BIM process.
- Establish and maintain the BIM Execution Plan.
- Enforce adherence to the BIM Execution Plan among project team members.
- Organize BIM coordination workshops and document progress.
- Record BIM models and their current status.
- Implement quality control procedures to verify model accuracy and appropriateness at each project stage.
- Identify and document clashes between different models using Navisworks Manage.
- Lead clash detection meetings with contract parties, including design consultants and sub-contractors.
- Inform team members of significant clashes and BIM-related issues.
- Monitor shared data and model relationships (grids, floor levels, coordinates).
- Define and agree upon technical requirements, software compatibility, and BIM standards for each team member.
- Oversee the uploading of information models to the Common Data Environment, ensuring compliance with the BIM execution plan.
- Coordinate model and data handover at agreed-upon milestones.
- Generate models as needed to support project design development.
- Stay current with the rapidly evolving BIM environment.
- Perform all other responsibilities associated with this role.
Requirements for this BIM Coordinator role.
- Degree Qualified in a related field.
- Min 5 years post graduate experience ideally with a main contractor
- Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Proficient in Navisworks.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Revit Architecture
- Knowledge & understanding of BIM Procedures & Protocols
Salary for this BIM Coordinator role is between €50,000 - €65,000 DOE
(Negotiable dependent upon experience), bonus scheme, plus further additional benefits
