Project Coordinator - High Rise

Job Description

Our client is a well known GC specializing in High Rise Residential and Commercial projects. They are looking to add a Project Coordinator - High Rise to their team for a newly awarded project in Hamilton. This position is based in office.

Responsibilities:
-Assist the Project Management Team with oversight of construction projects
-Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and contents of estimate
-Prepare tender documents and plans for tendering
-Prepare drawings and markups to support construction work as required
-Ensure that the Site Superintendents are supplied with all up to date drawings, schedules, and specifications
-Monitor on-site work to ensure compliance with contract scope of work, company standards, specifications, and codes
-Attend all regular project review meetings
-Assist with ordering construction materials
-Prepare and maintain site logs and record

Qualifications:
-A degree or technical diploma in Construction, Engineering, or Architecture is preferred, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in residential construction
-Ability to understand architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
-Strong time-management, organization, and attention to detail
-The ability to multi-task between on-site and in office administrative work
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment
-Excellent written and verbal communication
-Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Bluebeam, Procore

Compensation:
- $60,000 to $85,000 Annual Salary depending on experience
- 2-3 Weeks Vacation
