Are you a Project coordinator specializing in High-Rise Residential Construction Projects?


Have you been responsible for every scope of a High-Rise Residential project and seen it through till closing? Have you taken at least 2 projects through their full life-cycle?

This is a great opportunity for a Project Coordinator with experience working on High-Rise Residential Projects to join our client who is a large developer specializing in high rise residential development projects across the GTA.

Our client is looking for a Project Manager with experience working on medium value projects ($10 Million - $30 Million) to join them on a 10 storey high-rise retirement home project. This would be a permanent position, and the chosen candidates will move on to upcoming/future projects upon completion of the current project. 

The Project Coordinator will work with their to coordinate and manage all aspects of this project from pre-construction to closing. 


Responsibilities of the Project Manager
* The Project coordinator must assist the Project Management Team with oversight of construction projects
* The Project coordinator will review proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and contents of the estimate
* The Project coordinator will prepare tender documents and plans for tendering
* Prepare drawings and markups to support construction work as required
* Ensure that the Site Superintendents are supplied with all up-to-date drawings, schedules, and specifications
* Monitor on-site work to ensure compliance with contract scope of work, company standards, specifications, and codes
* The Project coordinator must attend all regular project review meetings
* Assist with ordering construction materials
* Prepare and maintain site logs and records

Required Qualifications for the Project Manager 
* A degree or technical diploma in Construction, Engineering, or Architecture is preferred, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in your field
* Ability to understand architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
* Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail
* The ability to multi-task between on-site and in-office administrative work
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Bluebeam, Procore
* Knowledge of Tarion Warranty Customer Service Guidelines is a must have

Package offered for this Project Manager role:
-    $80,000 - $95,000 per year
