Using data from Glenigan, the leading provider of construction data, we have looked at how many £10m+ projects, across all sectors are planned to start in 2023 within the UK. We also only counted projects where contracts have been awarded.

Of course, these figures will change over the course of 2023, with projects that don’t end up starting or delayed until 2024 and new projects that get the go ahead for 2023. But as a snapshot, it helps to show what the UK construction and infrastructure sectors in 2023 is expected to see in terms of projects starting.
