The initial cost of the project was estimates to be around €253 million, but this sum could now rise to around €841 million.

Köln-Deutz transport hub

The state of North Rhine-Westphalia is providing approximately €280 million euros as part of its network package of measures to improve rail capacity. The main part of the project will be the construction of a Köln-Deutz transport hub.
