An Acquisition Surveyor is a key profession within the telecoms sector, which is responsible for managing dependencies across a defined group of sites through planning, tracking & reporting to ensure regional acquisition targets are achieved.

What are the typical duties and activities for an Acquisition Surveyor?

From employer to employer the job description of an Acquisition Surveyor will vary, however typical duties and activities undertaken include:

  • Carry out site surveys and searches

  • Manage supplier delivery via regular review meetings and reporting and will be responsible for forecasting and managing delivery profiles

  • Highlight potential risks to delivery and mitigate as necessary

  • Ensuring compliance with site acquisition policies and procedures and all statutory requirements

  • Lease Renewal

  • Lease Negotiation

  • Assisting the Planning department
