Senior Estimator
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Estimator to join a well known Tier 1 contractor working on Major Projects within the Infrastructure sector.
The company is a well know Tier 1 contractor who operate nationwide throughout the UK and have a number of Regional offices. Your role as Senior Estimator you will joining an award winning business who will be part of the Major Projects Pre Construction team, supporting them in preparation of pricing for tenders/bids and other opportunities identified by the business, from receipt of documents through to presentation at tender review and completion of submission documents.
Project value ranges from £5m to £500m+, therefore Major Project Experience is needed.

Key responsibilities for this Senior Estimator role:
- Pricing for tenders/bids
- Work closely with the bid team
- Responsible for the preparation of the pricing/analytical estimate
- Preparation of preliminaries (on-cost) pricing (In conjunction with Tender Planner)
- Presentation of the estimate at bid team meetings and final settlement of bid
- Working to strict deadlines
- Experience of pricing work under various forms of contract including Traditional, NEC, Target Cost, Design & Build, Specification & Drawing or ECI bids.
- Preparation of quantities from drawings and specifications, working with recognised methods of measurement, such as CESMM and MMHW.
Experience required for this Senior Estimator role:
- Experience in a similar role and able to hit the ground running
- Infrastructure/Utilities/Civil Engineering Experience
- Ideally degree/HNC qualified in a construction or civil engineering related subject
- 5+ Years experience working as an Estimator for major civil engineering contractor.
Package offered for this Senior Estimator role:
- Basic Salary up to £90,000 depending on experience
- Car/Car Allowance
- Flexible working-Mainly remote working but travel required to sites and office as and when required. MUST be flexible on travel when needed
- 26 Days annual leave
