Role - Senior Estimator
Projects - Construction projects ranging from 20-200m USD
Location - San Antonio, Texas
Salary - 130,000 - 150,000 USD
One of the largest and most reputable general contractors in Texas is looking for an experienced Construction Estimator with local experience, the rght candidate must have previous experience on projects of 100m usd.
The Role You Will Play
- Prepares and coordinates quantity take-offs
- Communicates with sub-trades and suppliers to ensure an understanding of the scope of work
- Prepare conventional bids to the owner
- Prepare negotiated estimates for owners
- Assist in receiving and evaluating subcontractor and major material quotations prior to bid day and on bid day
- Solicits and maintains communication with subcontractors and vendors
- Transmits addenda and other bid information to subcontractors
- Ensures that we have the proper coverage from subcontractors on bid day
- Working with estimating team to strategize final bids
- Regular worksite attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture.
- 5+ years as an Estimator for a Commercial General Contractor.
- Must have experience estimating projects over $100 million.
