Quantity surveyor
This is a great opportunity for an experienced quantity surveyor to join a main contractor working on a major water project in the Peterborough area.

Key responsibilities for this quantity surveyor role:
- Work closely with the site Team attending site regularly to ensure they are aware of and can manage the allowances and outputs, provide robust challenge to achieve outperformance, communicate change control and escalate when necessary.
- Subcontracts are properly prepared & reflect agreed scope. Subcontracts are properly managed in accordance with contract requirements including compliance with all responses to communications, payments, early warnings, compensation events
- Work closely with the procurement team, Construction Manager and Project Delivery Manager (PDM) to develop & monitor procurement strategy.
- Assist the programme area estimating team to ensure robust estimates are provided that align to scope and make allowance for risks and opportunities
Experience required for this quantity surveyor role:
- Degree in quantity surveying
- Experience of working on major civil engineering projects
- Over 2 years' experience within a Assistant quantity surveyor role
Package offered for this quantity surveyor role:
- £40,000 - £45,000 Depending on experience
- Company Car or Car Allowance
- Holidays / Bank Holidays
- Health care
