They are seeking a Junior Land Development Manager to join their dynamic team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Job Description:
As a Junior Land Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of high-rise, mid-rise, and low-rise residential development projects in the GTA. This position requires an individual with 1 to 3 years of experience in high-rise residential development to assist in all aspects of land development, from initial project concept to final completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Land Acquisition: Assist in identifying and evaluating potential land acquisition opportunities in alignment with the company's growth strategy.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on prospective development sites, including market analysis, zoning regulations, environmental considerations, and feasibility assessments.
  • Project Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, engineers, and consultants to develop detailed project plans and designs.
  • Permitting and Approvals: Manage the permitting process and work with government agencies and local authorities to obtain necessary approvals.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Support in creating and managing project budgets, monitoring expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Contract Management: Assist in the selection and management of contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Project Monitoring: Regularly review project progress, identify potential issues, and develop strategies to address them, ensuring projects stay on track.
  • Risk Management: Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with land development projects.
  • Community and Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain positive relationships with community stakeholders, local residents, and relevant interest groups.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.'


Qualifications required for this development co-ordinator position:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Real Estate, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering).
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in high-rise residential development is required.
  • Strong knowledge of the GTA real estate market and local regulations.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.


Compensation provided for this development co-ordinator position:

  • $70,000 - $85,000 base salary
  • Gas card as needed
