My Client are well established with over 35 years experience in the Engineering Industry, Having gained an enviable reputation for professionalism and high quality contractual performance, my client have continued to grow and, in response to client requirements, has extended its range of civil engineering services now providing multi-disciplined construction and maintenance solutions, specialising in the rail sector.
The Role:
- You will ensure an effective deployment of personnel, plant, subcontractors and equipment to achieve the allocated site activities within the allowed programme period.
- You will work on the LNE framework for Network Rail railway maintenance work including but not limited to vegetation clearance and brickwork.
- You will be responsible for liaising with clients / visitors in a professional manner and where necessary, carry out; inductions, site briefings of method statements and activities, daily inspections and record any changes. This will include taking photographs and record additional works found to the Project Manager / Site Manager and ensure return to head office.
Requirements:
- Civils / Rail background
- Demonstrable experience of running site teams in a fast paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- PTS
- COSS / PIC
- SSSTS/ SMSTS
- Supervisory experience
- First Aid
Other information:
- Most of the current projects are regional, therefore from time to time you may be required to lodge / work away
- Share driving / Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexibility to work nights / weekend
- Permanent position
- Training & Development provided and maintained
