Environmental Engineer

Our client is a consulting firm located in the Greater Toronto Area and they are looking for an Environmental Engineer to join their team. The Environmental Engineer is responsible for evaluating the environmental sites and developing plans to mitigate environmental effects. This includes conducting environmental assessments, analyzing data, and making recommendations for conservation and sustainability measures. The Environmental Engineer will work on residential, infrastructure and government projects, to ensure that such projects comply with environmental regulations and policies. The Environmental Engineer needs to be proficient in AutoCAD and have experience performing Phase 1 and 2 ESA (Environmental Site Assessments). Responsibilities for the Environmental Engineer:

  • Working with an established team of professionals, the successful candidate will participate in and/or direct a variety of environmental projects.
  •  In the position, you will be responsible for proposal preparation, project management, reporting and invoicing on a variety of environmental projects including residential, infrastructure and government.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications for the Environmental Engineer:

  • The successful candidate will have at 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Must have P. Eng designation or registered as a EIT (Engineer in Training) working towards your P. Eng  (completion within 12 months)
  • Proficient knowledge and experience working with AutoCAD
