Senior Mechanical Engineer - Stockholm

I’m currently supporting a leading international Engineering Consultancy, looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their specialist facilities division and play a key role in delivering sustainable Data Center solutions. You will work as part of passionate teams filled with global talent, with a flexible hybrid model, designed to balance collaboration, remote working, and travel when required.
Key responsibilities for this Senior Mechanical Engineer position:
- Act as the main liaison with clients to identify business goals and technical requirements
- Develop mechanical concepts and innovative design solutions for Data Centers
- Lead and oversee mechanical design teams across the Nordics, ensuring high quality delivery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal solutions for clients
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Data Center division in the region
Key experience for this Senior Mechanical Engineer position:
We’re seeking someone who brings:
- Experience leading Mechanical Design teams within consultancy or engineering environments
- Proven track record in designing or constructing Data Center facilities
- A strong consulting mindset, able to balance technical design with business and client needs
- Solid knowledge of digital design delivery (Revit/BIM 360)
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
