Associate Quantity Surveyor
Summary
An independent chartered quantity surveying company with core services in commercial management of construction projects with a goal is to help property developers minimise risk and maximise investment returns is looking to hire an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor in their Preston office.
As an Associate Quantity Surveyor, the position will involve day-to-day responsibilities including cost control, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting. The role requires working closely with developer clients to support successful and commercially sound project delivery.
Seeking someone with:
- Experience in the construction or residential development industry
- Minimum of 8 years' experience as Quantity Surveyor
- Expertise in Cost Control and Cost Management
- Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
- Proficiency in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum plus package
