An established regional main contractor with a strong presence across the Midlands and South is seeking a Commercial lead to join its team.
The business is known for delivering high quality projects across education, healthcare, research, residential sectors predominantly within public sector.
This appointment comes at a key stage of growth, with a strong secured pipeline and increasing demand across multiple regions.
The Role:
This is a senior commercial leadership position with responsibility across multiple live projects and commercial teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading commercial strategy across regional projects
Managing and mentoring Senior QS, QS and AQS teams
Overseeing CVR processes, cost reporting and financial governance
Driving margin improvement and risk management
Supporting procurement and pre-construction strategy
Managing NEC and JCT contract environments
Working closely with operational and design leads to ensure project alignment
You will act as a key commercial authority within your region, influencing performance and reporting at senior level.
The ideal individual will:
Have operated at Senior Commercial Manager / Commercial Lead level
Bring Tier 1 or major regional contractor experience
Have strong NEC and JCT contract expertise
Be confident leading teams and driving commercial performance
Demonstrate experience within public sector frameworks (education, healthcare, civic, defence or similar)
Be commercially strategic yet operationally credible
