Our client, a prominent main contractor in the construction industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Coordinator to join their dynamic team. As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the successful implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and technologies across various projects. You will collaborate closely with project teams to ensure the efficient coordination and integration of BIM data throughout all stages of construction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of BIM execution plans for assigned projects.
- Coordinate BIM workflows and standards with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Generate and maintain BIM models, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Facilitate clash detection and resolution processes to optimize project coordination.
- Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably within main contractors.
- Proven experience with industrial/Data Centre and/or large commercial projects is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
