An established and growing residential developer is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its Commercial team based in Leicester. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in the commercial delivery of housing schemes, working closely with senior leadership and operational teams to help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and within budget.
Reporting to the Commercial Lead, you will support the financial and contractual management of residential developments from pre-construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:

Procurement and negotiation of subcontract packages

Cost planning, budget management and financial reporting

Preparation of monthly valuations and cost reports

Management of subcontractor accounts and variations

Supporting commercial oversight across multiple projects

Working with technical and buying teams to drive efficiencies

Building strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector

Residential or housing experience preferred

Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Commercially aware with a proactive and organised approach
