Project Manager - Brighton
£70,000 - £80,000 + Allowance & Excellent Company Benefits
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a fast-growing construction business, delivering a brand-new shell & core project in Brighton valued at £6m. This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of a mixed-use accommodation extension within a live environment.
The Role
As the Number 1 on site, you will be responsible for leading the project from inception through to completion. You will take full control of key packages including external works, reinforced concrete (RC) frame, and temporary works, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a fast-paced role where strong leadership, organisation, and attention to detail are essential, with health & safety, quality, and programme at the forefront of everything you do.
Key Responsibilities
- Full site leadership and overall responsibility for project delivery
- Managing external works, RC frame, and temporary works packages
- Driving programme to ensure key milestones and deadlines are met
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety across site operations
- Ensuring quality delivery in line with project specifications
- Managing subcontractors and coordinating site activities
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Overseeing works within a live environment with minimal disruption
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
- Strong track record delivering external works on commercial schemes
- Experience managing RC frame and complex site environments
- Ability to manage tight programmes and challenging deadlines
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
