This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager (construction) to join a Chartered Main Contractor recognised for delivering exceptional Commercial fit out and refurbishment projects across London and the South East.
With a reputation in transforming Industrial, Office, and Education spaces, our client offers the opportunity to work on high value projects, combining traditional and design & build approaches. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys managing a diverse range of projects and taking ownership through to successful completion.
London based projects, hybrid arrangement 2-3 days on site/office.
Key responsibilities of this Project Manager opportunity:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of CAT A / CAT B fit-out projects from pre construction through to handover
- Create, manage, and report against detailed delivery programmes, identifying risks and mitigation plans early
- Oversee site activities to ensure works are completed to specification, on time and within agreed budgets
- Produce and maintain all project documentation including RAMS, progress reports, variations, and quality checks
- Prepare and maintain Construction Phase Plans, ensuring all site activities comply with CDM regulations, risk assessments, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle
What we’re looking for as a Project Manager:
- Main contractor experience, ideally within commercial fit out and refurbishment
- 5 years experience in construction Project Management
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree level in Construction Management (or equivalent study)
- CDM awareness / Construction Phase Plan training
- APM or PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Valid UK driving license
