About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a respected contractor delivering major infrastructure schemes across the East Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber. You’ll take ownership of projects from inception to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Working closely with clients, engineers, and site teams, you’ll play a key role in leading project delivery, managing subcontractors, and driving performance standards across all phases of work.


Key Requirements

  • Proven experience managing civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence teams and stakeholders.

  • Excellent understanding of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and project management principles.

  • Ability to manage budgets, programmes, and subcontractor performance.

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.


Experience Required

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager delivering civil engineering projects (rail, highways, bridges, or similar).

  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder relationships.

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.

  • CSCS and SMSTS certification desirable.


Desirable Knowledge / Skills

  • Understanding of Network Rail and Highways England frameworks.

  • Experience working to NEC contract conditions.

  • Chartered or working towards professional accreditation (ICE / CIOB).

  • Strong commercial awareness and client-facing confidence.
