M&E Coordinator | Cork

We are currently looking for an M&E Coordinator to become part of our client's team based in Co Cork. In this position, you'll collaborate with a team of professionals who share your dedication, working on prestigious multi-million-euro projects.

As the M&E Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be overseeing the Coordination, Process, and Services Coordination teams for all Building Services. Your objective will be to guarantee that the systems and the overall project are delivered, installed, and commissioned safely and efficiently, in line with the Project Programme, Quality, Environmental, and Cost parameters. This ensures satisfaction among all stakeholders involved.

Additionally, you'll play a key role in upholding and enhancing the Company's reputation through the successful execution of projects, demonstrating effective management skills that prioritize quality and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities for this M&E Coordinator Role:

  1. Overseeing all aspects of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Services throughout various project phases.
  2. Playing an active role in Pre-Construction & Planning, Construction, Testing, Commissioning & Verification stages.
  3. Managing the smooth flow of information between the Design Team and Specialist Subcontractors.
  4. Ensuring the successful implementation of MEP deliverables.
  5. Diligently monitoring installations to ensure compliance with Specifications/Approved Submittals at each stage.
  6. Coordinating and managing trades and suppliers provided by the client.
  7. Ensuring on-site MEP works meet BCAR requirements and adhere to Health and Safety Standards.
  8. Facilitating the timely submission of Safety File Data to the Client upon Project Completion.

Requirements for this M&E Coordiantor Role:

  1. Possess a minimum of 2 years years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  2. Hold a degree in Building Services or a related field.
  3. Display a solid understanding of building performance, with proficiency in at least one Building Services discipline.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively, manage trades, and conduct regular progress review meetings.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, and BIM Modeling.
  6. Demonstrate strong drive, productivity, and performance, especially in mobilization.
  7. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
