Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 plus car/allowance & benefits
The Opportunity.
Due to newly secured projects, this established, and highly successful contractor has an excellent opportunity for a Design Manager, Assistant Design Manager or Design Coordinator, ready to take a step up, to join their team.
They are looking to appoint a capable lead for two ongoing projects, both ranging in value from £5-£10 million.
While support is always available from a Senior Design Manager and the wider team, you'll need to be confident operating with a high level of autonomy as this role calls for someone who can take full responsibility for both schemes on a day-to-day basis.
You will be taking projects from early stages right through to completion. You'll be expected to coordinate designs, manage external consultants, and work closely with both site-based and commercial teams.
What will they consider?
An Assistant Design Manager or Design Coordinator with a minimum of 3 years' experience, with genuine interest in progressing to Design Manager
Key Requirements for the Design Manager Position.
- An established background working with a main contractor within a design management or coordination role.
- Proven ability and comfortability in running two mid-size projects simultaneously
- Strong and effective communicator who can drive design progress and confidently resolve on-site challenges.
