The Opportunity:
A leading national contractor is looking for a Design Manager to work on a long term project in the Staffordshire area. The successful Design Manager will be involved from pre-construction stage through to practical completion which is due to last for 3 years. This company has a varied and interesting portfolio, with project values typically ranging from £5m-80m, across sectors including healthcare, commercial, Industrial, residential/accommodation and leisure/hotel projects.
Experienced Design Coordinators that are looking for a step up will also be considered for this position, so this is an excellent opportunity for someone that is looking for career progression.
To be considered for this position:
- Previous employment as a Design Manager or Coordinator with a main contractor.
- Pre-construction and delivery experience.
- A good mix of commercial construction experience (such as healthcare, commercial, student accommodation, hotels, industrial etc.).
- Qualified to a high standard in a relevant subject (Degree / HNC/D).
